App is useless without a fix.
Yes, other reviewers are correct, the tutorial screen doesnt go away on my iPad. Its a pity, because its great on the phone. Im hoping the developers are reading these comments and fix it, because its great content.
The tutorial menu wont go away. Please fixxxxx. If it did im sure I would give this app 5 stars
I was warned via reviews but did not listen, waste of time! It did not work! Could never get a screen open past tutoring screen. When will I listen?
Trying to use this app on iPad and the gray tutorial screen will not go away. I will adjust my rating when this is fixed.
I am having the same issue with the uber-annoying grey-film tutorial screen. Otherwise, a promising app. Please fix this issue.
Im using this app on IPhone 6, and it works great. Lots of interesting topics, and the articles Ive read arent overly long. Just right for a person who wants to gain some knowledge quickly.
I initially downloaded he app and had the grey film tutorial on the screen and wouldnt go away. I deleted and downloaded the app again and now works fine. Some interesting articles.
No amount of tapping, scrolling or even app reinstalling will make the intro help screen go away. Youre stuck with an all gray overlay which obscures all the contents. Why release untested code? Did any of the developers bother to try this on an iPad? Obviously not.
Tutorial (gray screen others are mentioning) wont dismiss on iPad.
Like other reviewers, the gray training screen never goes away, so the content is unaccessible. A disappointment.
I have the issue with the tutorial screen. Just deleted and reloaded it on my iPad Air 2. Otherwise Im very happy with this app, so I only took off one star. Im sure there will be a bug fix in the future so I can be patient. I love space articles and the fact that I can weed out video makes me thrilled. My husband is a programmer so the bugs are easily forgivable. Will be using in my daughters homeschool.
Makers didnt check all iOS platform and missed out iPad. Completely unusable because aggressive tutorial doesnt go away.
The app offers a relatively well designed way to review recent science news. My one complaint is that the "i" (info) button on pictures/graphics does nothing. (I had hoped it would show a zoomable version of the pics.) I could not replicate the "gray overlay" many other reviewers cite. Perhaps thats an artifact of the device the were using.
Never gets out of tutorial mode.
Articles are succinct and provide great insight into the beauty of many facets of science
Very fluid and informative
As other reviews state, the intro dialogues wont go away, so the app is useless. The developers should at least monitor the app store to see if anybody is able to use their app. Using IOS 8 on an iPad Mini, by the way.
Will not clear tutorial screen overlay. Find a new developer and tester as this should never have been released to production.
Poorly built app. Very disappointing. I do love Science mags. But, this should not be out yet. I deleted it 5 mins later. FYI: this is on the largest drive, cellular capable, new iPad Mini. I have no other app problems.
